Late Mr. Ahmed Ali Yateem, was a pioneer in the Middle East region and he saw the need for having a home-grown optical presence to serve the needs of the community. Following his footsteps, his son the late Mr. Abdulla Ali Yateem formed the foundation for spearheading the Yateem group through strategic expansions in the region. The rest, as they say, is history. Today the five sons of the late Mr. Abdulla Ali Yateem form the core pillars that Manage the group. The Yateem Group owns Over 100 optical outlets in addition to many other operations and facilities.
