Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons across all Year 6 subjects, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum of England.
Preparing students effectively for the transition to secondary school, including academic, social, and emotional readiness.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students, using data to inform future teaching.
Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that supports the intellectual, emotional, and social development of every child.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support the school's vision and goals.
Participating fully in the extra-curricular program and school development initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
A Bachelor s degree in Education or a relevant subject, and a recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching the National Curriculum of England, ideally within a Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2 setting.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Fluency in English (oral and written).
A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards.
Desirable:
Previous experience working in an international school environment.
Familiarity with various assessment methods used for Year 6 students (e.g., SATs preparation).
