Join CEVA Almajdouie Logistics Co., a leading entity in the logistics industry, as a Zero Defect Start Up Specialist within our Business Process Excellence department, based at our headquarters in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role is crucial to our Transversal Support division and supports our Ground and Rail logistics operations by ensuring the flawless execution of new processes and projects from initial implementation through to full operational status.
As a Zero Defect Start Up Specialist, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at achieving zero defects in start-up phases of our business processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, executing, and monitoring quality assurance frameworks and process improvement methodologies that align with CEVA Almajdouie Logistics Co.'s commitment to excellence.
This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures before full-scale deployment, ensuring operational readiness and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve training and coaching stakeholders to uphold standards that prevent errors and optimise quality from the outset.
- Lead and coordinate the start-up of new business processes, ensuring adherence to zero defect principles throughout the implementation phase.
- Develop and apply rigorous quality control measures tailored to logistics operations, particularly within ground and rail segments.
- Conduct detailed process reviews and risk assessments to identify areas vulnerable to defects and develop actionable mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to ensure continuous alignment of process improvement initiatives with corporate quality standards and operational objectives.
- Design and deliver training sessions for teams and leadership on zero defect methodologies, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide transparent reporting to management on start-up progress, challenges, and quality outcomes.
- Drive post-implementation analyses to capture lessons learned and embed best practices into future start-up projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive professional with a strong background in quality assurance, process excellence or operational start-up management within logistics or related industries. Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of quality methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks, and demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Experience working in the KSA market and familiarity with local regulations and business culture will be advantageous.
