Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is amongst the fastest-growing airport hubs worldwide, currently serving over 102 passenger destinations and a network of 24 airlines. More than 15 million passengers are expected to pass through AUH in 2022. Our new Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) will more than double the passenger capacity to 45 million passengers annually to meet the growing demand in the coming years. MTB will be a key element of our future Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC), which will house world-class cargo and catering facilities, utilities and related infrastructure. The facility will become the primary gateway for passengers traveling through Abu Dhabi, as well as the new home of Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier.
