Accountant / Auditor

Participate in external and internal audit engagements in accordance with Lebanese Standards.

Plan and perform audit procedures, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and substantive testing.

Review and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and supporting schedules.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, Lebanese tax laws, VAT regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.

Prepare audit working papers, reports, and management letters with clear findings and recommendations.

Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, VAT filings, and reconciliations where required.

Communicate professionally with clients to obtain audit evidence and clarify accounting matters.

Identify control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.

Support junior staff through guidance, review of work, and on-the-job coaching.

Coordinate with audit managers and partners to ensure timely completion of assignments.
