Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 1 to 2 years of experience to support our finance operations in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting operations including bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes accurately and timely.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and compliant with local regulations and internal standards.
  • Prepare and review invoices, payment vouchers, and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Support the payroll team by providing necessary financial data and assisting in payroll processing when needed.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist external auditors during audits by preparing requested documents and explanations.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Work closely with other departments to support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and taxation laws.


    Requirements
    • Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-based company or outsourcing environment.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Egyptian tax laws.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
    • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Based in Alexandria , Egypt.
