Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
• Oversee inventory accounting processes: stock reconciliation, valuation (FIFO/weighted average), write-offs, shrinkage analysis, and monthly closing.
• Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and ensure accurate allocation of direct/indirect costs.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual, budgeted, and forecasted costs, providing insights to management.
• Implement internal controls for inventory movement across warehouses, production, and sales channels.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure proper recording of goods in/out.
• Ensure compliance with financial rules and regulation in Qatar.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support external/internal audits by preparing required schedules and reconciliations.
• Lead and mentor junior finance staff, promoting accuracy and accountability.
