Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Accountant
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Support internal and external audits
Monitor budgets and analyze financial performance
Process payroll and related tax filings (if applicable)
Recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (industry-specific experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS as applicable)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Skills
CPA certification or progress toward certification
Experience with financial reporting and compliance
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
