Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records for client portfolios, investments, and transactions
Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations (bank, custodian, and investment accounts)
Monitor and record investment activities including equities, bonds, mutual funds, and structured products
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and MIS reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls (including AML/KYC support)
Coordinate with relationship managers, operations, and external auditors
Track fees, commissions, and revenue recognition for wealth products
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
Support system improvements and automation initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6 years of experience in accounting within wealth management, asset management, or financial services
Strong understanding of investment products and financial instruments
Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
Experience with accounting/ERP systems and portfolio management platforms
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
close attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is crucial for efficient financial management and reporting.
