Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Record daily expenses, sales, and payments in accounting software (Tally).
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliation reports. Prepare invoices and track accounts receivable.
Follow up with clients for pending payments via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
Collect cheques/cash from clients and ensure timely bank deposits.
Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss, cash flow, and outstanding receivables.
Assist in vendor payments, petty cash management, and bank reconciliations.
Support with VAT filings and compliance where applicable.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential for a strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle field visits for payment collection.
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
A minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment, is required.
