Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare and review journal entries, general ledgers, and account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and support the preparation of VAT returns as needed.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlements.
Support the finance team in variance analysis and reporting.
Manage bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Maintain organized documentation and filing for all accounting records.
Conduct banking activities outside the office when required.
Liaise with suppliers and customers for account reconciliation and resolution of financial matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Zoho Books is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good command of English.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in audit coordination.
Familiarity with corporate tax (CIT) implementation in the UAE.
