We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to join The Espresso Lab s finance team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations for our retail and F&B activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help maintain compliance with local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and periodic reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain the general ledger, and perform regular reconciliations.
Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate results.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including preparation and filing of VAT returns.
Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.
Monitor and analyze accounting transactions to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Drive process improvements within the finance function to increase efficiency and control.
Assist with inventory accounting and cost control procedures relevant to retail and F&B operations.
Work cross-functionally with retail, operations and HR teams to support business needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus.
At least 2 years of practical accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT rules and local financial compliance requirements.
Comfortable using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Effective communicator who can work independently and collaborate with other departments.
