Key Responsibilities

• Undertake all accounting activities and ensure transactions are recorded promptly and properly.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Review financial statements to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation in line with management and audit requirements.
• Regularly review accounting books, ledgers, statements, and systems to ensure up-to-date records and timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve long-outstanding reconciling items.
• Follow best practices for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to support a healthy cash flow cycle.
• Provide best-practice recommendations and support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Suggest initiatives to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profitability.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of work in support of company strategic goals and objectives.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: University Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with accounting systems / ERP solutions (e.g., SAP or similar)
