Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client, a leading consumer electronics company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance. This role is open to Saudi nationals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany accounts.
Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and company policies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Support internal and external audits.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Saudi national.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in consumer electronics or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and Saudi tax regulations (VAT).
Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems preferred) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
Prior exposure to inventory accounting in consumer electronics or retail environment.
