Oversee daily activities of the accounting team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and deadlines met.

Provide ongoing support and development opportunities for team members, conducting regular performance reviews and offering constructive feedback.

Address and resolve team conflicts and performance issues promptly and effectively.

Review and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Highlighting and identifying significant variances budget.

Ensure all accounting practices adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, keeping up to date with any changes.

Oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities -Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory management, and other financial processes- to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Prepare and organize all necessary documentation for external audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Addressing inquiries and implementing recommendations from audit findings where needed.

Regularly evaluate accounting processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic initiatives.

Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial expertise to inform decision-making.

Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.

Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.

Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
