Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders

Accounting Operations

• Supervise general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and fixed assets
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense allocation

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and accounting standards
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit findings
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Monitor budget vs. actual results and analyze variances

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
• Support ERP/financial system implementations or enhancements
• Automate and streamline reporting where possible

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with finance, HR, procurement, and operations teams
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants
