Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Monitor cash flow dynamics, assess financial risks, and enforce internal controls and company financial policies.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with proven exposure to GCC financial regulations and practices.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), financial reporting frameworks, and ERP systems.
Demonstrated analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex financial processes and teams effectively.
