Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Accounts Executive at Omega Engineering FZC, you’ll handle end-to-end accounting and financial management, which includes:
• Recording & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and daily transaction logs.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed management reports and financial statements to support business decision-making.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize spending, and support business growth.
• Risk Analysis: Assess financial risks, propose mitigation plans, and ensure fiscal stability.
• Auditing: Prepare and support both internal and external audits.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets, track variances, and forecast future financial outcomes.
• Tax & Compliance: Manage UAE VAT submissions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Invoicing & Payments: Oversee receivables, payables, and vendor payment cycles.
• Payroll: Process payroll and maintain employee compensation records.
• ERP Systems: Handle accounting processes using Odoo ERP (preferred) or other ERP systems.
• Client Coordination: Communicate with clients regarding invoicing, documentation, and payment follow-ups.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting roles within the UAE, preferably in a mid-sized company.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax and compliance regulations (VAT).
• Proficiency in ERP accounting systems — Odoo experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
