Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Bloom World Academy is seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Biology to teach either DP Biology or A Level Biology for an immediate start.
As an IB/advanced-level educator, you must display a clear commitment to developing international mindedness in your classroom and support the development of this across the school. Experience in student-centred, inquiry-based learning is required. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, a track record of building professional relationships, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are looking for experienced practitioners with a proven record of securing outstanding student outcomes, capable of teaching students of all abilities, and committed to stretching learners to achieve their potential and beyond.
It is highly desirable that you have experience of the IB Diploma Programme or A Level, although training can be provided. You should be adept at planning rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences, have a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and demonstrate a passion for teaching Biology at an advanced level.

Desired Candidate Profile
Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
- Significant teaching experience in DP Biology or A Level Biology
- Bachelor s degree in Biology or related field, with PGCE/QTS or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a reputable school
- A track record of outstanding student results
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Inter-cultural awareness and excellent communication skills
- Excited to engage with students and parents
