Advent Synchova Developer

We are looking for an experienced Advent Synchova Developer to lead development, customization, and support activities for Advent Synchova (Portfolio Accounting & Reporting) within asset and wealth management environments. The role focuses on ensuring accurate portfolio accounting, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting

Key Responsibilities
*Design, develop, and enhance solutions on Advent Synchova (Portfolio Accounting & Reporting) platform.
*Configure accounting rules, reconciliation processes, and reporting frameworks.
*Customize portfolio reports, performance measurement, NAV calculations, and client statements.
*Integrate Advent Synchova with custodians, fund accounting systems, risk platforms, and compliance systems.
*Support reconciliation, accounting validation, and audit processes.
*Implement system upgrades, patches, and new modules.
*Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards.
*Collaborate with portfolio managers, fund accountants, and operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience
*6+ years of hands-on experience in Advent Synchova development/support.
*Strong knowledge of portfolio accounting, fund accounting, NAV calculation, and performance reporting.
*Experience in Wealth & Asset Management domain.
*Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlements, and accounting workflows.
*Familiarity with financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, structured products.
*Strong expertise in SQL/Oracle databases.
*Experience integrating accounting systems using APIs and data feeds.
*Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance standards.
*Experience in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
*Strong analytical and communication skills.
