Aircraft Allocation Specialist

Develop weekly and monthly fleet allocation plans aligned with schedule requirements, maintenance programs, aircraft performance, and commercial priorities

• Support Line Planning to adjust aircraft assignments during the day-of-operations based on disruption events, technical issues, crew availability, weather, or airport constraints.

• Establish rulesets and planning logic to guideline Planners for optimal daily aircraft assignment.

• Ensure allocations respect short term and medium term maintenance planning windows while minimizing operational impact.

• Use data driven methods to ensure aircraft are assigned where utilization, revenue, and performance are maximized.

• Analyse aircraft utilization trends, block hours, ground time, and routing efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.

• Provide insights to support fleet assignment optimization and daily operational decision making.

• Track KPIs such as utilization rate, schedule stability, aircraft readiness, and swap frequency.

• Integrate scheduled maintenance, mandatory checks, MEL trends, and engineering restrictions into medium term allocation planning.

• Coordinate with MCC, Line Maintenance, and Engineering Planning to ensure planned allocations protect maintenance windows while maximizing aircraft availability.

• Review daily allocation performance post operations and identify systemic issues requiring process improvement.

• Conduct scenario analysis for schedule changes, aircraft induction or phase out, technical events, and operational plan adjustments.

• Support the Fleet Utilization Manager in long term capacity planning, fleet changes, and strategic projects.

• Work with Network Planning, Commercial, Flight Operations, Engineering, and Scheduling teams to align medium term allocation strategies.

• Communicate upcoming allocation constraints and opportunities proactively to operational stakeholders.

• Support adherence to aircraft lease usage restrictions, cycle/hour limitations, and return conditions.

• Support monthly utilization reporting to lessors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
  
  
• Identify recurring operational bottlenecks and propose improvements to processes, tools, and allocation models.
