Job Description

As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for travelers at the airport, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth journey from check-in to boarding. You will handle a variety of passenger needs, including ticketing, reservations, and luggage inquiries, while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential in addressing any issues or concerns passengers may face. Working in a dynamic airport environment, you will collaborate with team members and other airport personnel to deliver seamless services to both domestic and international travelers.


Responsibilities
  • Greet passengers warmly and assist them with check-in procedures efficiently.
  • Manage ticketing and reservation inquiries promptly both in person and over the phone.
  • Coordinate with baggage handling teams to resolve luggage-related issues swiftly.
  • Ensure compliance with airport and airline security protocols at all times.
  • Provide clear and accurate flight and travel information to passengers routinely.
  • Address passenger complaints and queries with patience and professionalism.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, ensuring comfortable and safe travel experiences.
  • Coordinate with gate agents to facilitate smooth boarding processes for flights.
  • Update passenger information systems accurately to reflect current travel statuses.
  • Monitor airport facility conditions and report any discrepancies to maintenance teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized check-in area to enhance passenger experiences.
  • Collaborate with security staff to uphold strict safety and security standards.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required for this position.
  • Prior experience in customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software for ticketing tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle high-pressure situations smoothly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy airport environment.
