Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Appointment Setter is responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities by engaging decision-makers, understanding their needs, and booking high-quality meetings for the sales team. This role focuses on outbound calls, WhatsApp follow-ups, LinkedIn outreach, and CRM management to support revenue growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Outreach & Communication Make outbound calls to prospects across UAE (IT Managers, Procurement, Network Engineers, CIOs, Facility Managers, etc.). Conduct follow-up communication via phone, WhatsApp, email, and LinkedIn. Clearly articulate the company’s services, hardware solutions, and value propositions. Qualify prospects using structured scripts and discovery questions. 2. Appointment Scheduling Book sales meetings for Account Managers, ensuring time, date, and agenda are confirmed. Maintain a high booking-to-call ratio with qualified opportunities. Coordinate calendar invites and ensure all meeting details are accurate. 3. Lead Qualification Use frameworks such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline). Understand customer requirements related to IT hardware, transceivers, structured cabling, managed services, and other offerings. Identify buying intent, project timelines, and procurement processes. 4. CRM Management Update CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, GoHighLevel, etc.) with all call notes and lead statuses. Track follow-up tasks and keep pipelines clean and organised. Ensure accurate data entry for reporting and sales forecasting. 5. Market Research Identify new leads through LinkedIn, Google searches, and industry directories. Map organisations to find key decision-makers and influencers. Stay updated on UAE market trends, competitors, and technology offerings. 6. Script & Pitch Refinement Provide feedback on messaging and improve scripts based on real market responses. Tailor outreach messages for specific industries (oil & gas, banking, government, data centres, SMEs, etc.). 7. Performance & KPIs Meet daily/weekly KPIs: Number of calls Number of qualified conversations Meetings booked Show-up rate Lead conversion quality Maintain high professionalism and customer engagement standards. 8. Collaboration Work closely with the sales team to ensure meetings are well-prepared. Share common objections, trends, and customer feedback to improve product positioning. Align outreach with ongoing promotions, new product lines, or campaigns.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills & Attributes Required Strong communication and telephone presence. Confidence to speak with senior stakeholders. Understanding of IT, networking hardware, or managed services (preferred). Organised, disciplined, and able to handle high-volume outreach. Tech-savvy with CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Positive attitude, persistence, and resilience.
