Job Summary: The Arabic Proofreader / Language Editor is responsible for reviewing and proofreading all legal pleadings, submissions, memoranda, contracts, and official correspondence from a linguistic perspective. The role ensures that all documents are free from spelling, grammatical, syntactical, and stylistic errors, while maintaining the accuracy of legal meaning and adhering to professional and institutional writing standards, thereby reflecting company s professional image before courts, official authorities, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofread and review all legal pleadings, memoranda, submissions, contracts, and official documents prior tosubmission or approval.
Correct spelling, grammatical, syntactical, and punctuation errors.
Enhance linguistic style and clarity without altering the legal meaning or technical content.
Ensure consistency of legal terminology and language usage.
Coordinate with legal advisors and lawyers regarding any material linguistic observations.
Adhere strictly to deadlines to avoid delays in workflow.
Contribute to improving the overall quality of legal written output.
Candidate Profile:
Requirement open for Arab Nationals Only
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Arabic proofreading or language editing.
Bachelor s degree in Arabic Language. Preferably holding a diploma or professional certification in proofreading, editing,or Arabic linguistics
Experience in proofreading legal or formal documents is a strong advantage
Preferably with prior experience in Law firms, Legal departments & Government entities or official institutions
