Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding procedures and qualifications to ensure compliance with Aramco standards and project specifications.
- Oversee the preparation and review of welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR) for all welding activities.
- Monitor and verify welder performance, conducting visual inspections, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure weld quality.
- Verify and approve all welding consumables, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are properly stored and handled.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Holds a valid Aramco approval as a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) and Welding Procedure Reviewer (WPR).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in welding inspection and quality control within the oil and gas or related industries.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of welding codes and standards, including ASME, AWS, and Aramco standards.
