Architectural Design Engineer Team Lead

Lead architectural design across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages

Prepare and review architectural drawings, design reports, and technical specifications

Ensure compliance with Qatar Building Codes, QCS, and relevant authority requirements

Coordinate effectively with MEP, structural, and landscape teams

Review consultant and contractor submissions to ensure design quality and compliance

Liaise with clients and local authorities to support approvals and design reviews

Manage and mentor architectural design teams, including workload planning and task allocation

Support value engineering initiatives and design optimization without compromising quality

Bachelor s Degree in Architecture

Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar within a consultancy environment

Proven experience handling authority submissions and approvals

UPDA Certification Mandatory

Proficiency in Arabic (required) and English (professional level)

Must hold a valid QID with transferable visa

Strong leadership and coordination capabilities

In-depth knowledge of local regulations, codes, and approval processes

Ability to manage multiple projects and guide teams effectively under deadlines
