Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging art lessons across various mediums including drawing, painting, crafts, sculpture, and mixed media.
  • Teach foundational concepts such as color theory, design elements, visual composition, and storytelling through art.
  • Encourage individual creativity and expression through thoughtfully designed classroom projects.
  • Maintain a safe, well-equipped, and inclusive art classroom conducive to exploration and learning.
  • Evaluate student work, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for internal and external exhibitions or competitions.
  • Collaborate with other subject departments to plan interdisciplinary projects and display student artwork in common areas.
  • Keep up to date with current trends in art education and ensure compliance with KHDA and CBSE curriculum expectations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
  • B.Ed. is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE curriculum school.

Visa Status:

  • Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong command of various artistic techniques and materials.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of different skill levels.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about nurturing artistic talent and visual literacy among students.
