Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that encourage creativity and critical thinking in students.
  • Facilitate a positive classroom environment where students feel safe to express their artistic ideas and explore various media.
  • Assess and evaluate students' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
  • Organize art exhibitions and showcases to display student work, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in both art and pedagogy.
  • A teaching certification or license specific to art education, validating the candidate's qualifications to teach.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an educational setting, demonstrating a proven track record of effective teaching.
  • Familiarity with diverse art techniques and mediums, enabling the ability to teach a variety of artistic expressions.
