Roles & Responsibilities

Assistant- Account Manager

Overview

Soul Senses Spa & Wellness has opportunity for Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team in Dubai.

This position will be based in Al Barsha Business Center - Dubai, UAE

Role Overview:


The Assistant Account Manager will support the Finance Controller in handling the daily accounting and financial tasks of the spa & wellness business. This includes managing payments, revenue reports, payroll, vendor accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Daily Accounting & Reporting

Check and record daily sales from spa software.

Ensure all cash, card, and online payments are correctly recorded and deposited.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for management.

Vendor & Supplier Management

Manage vendor bills & ensure timely payments to suppliers.

Reconcile supplier statements every month.

Bank & Cash Management

Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.

Track spa package sales, memberships, and advance payments.

Fixed Assets & Inventory

Maintain records of spa equipment, machines, and tools.

Coordinate with the operations team to ensure proper stock control of products and consumables.

Taxation & Compliance

Assist in filing VAT returns.

Ensure invoices follow VAT rules.

Maintain proper documentation for audits.

Internal Controls

Help improve internal processes like billing accuracy, cash handling, discounts, and refunds.

Make sure company policies are followed at all spa branches.

Audit Support

Prepare schedules and documents for internal and external audits.

Ensure all recommendations are implemented.


Qualifications & Skills

  • CA/ CA Intern with 5 -8 years of relevant work experience.
  • 5 - 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail & hospitality, or wellness industry.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/ERP).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Good communication and team-handling abilities.
  • Should be detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
