The College of Mass Communication of Umm Al Quwain University (UAQU) invites applicants for a
full-time faculty position at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor
in Communication, Media, or Digital & New Media . The desired candidate is expected to contribute to the College s
research, teaching, and service. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and tax-free.

Qualifications

• PhD in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations, Digital or New Media, or Crisis Communication from an accredited institution.
• Strong research record, with several working papers in publication tracks and publications in high-ranked journals.
• Broad teaching portfolio and experience in modern course delivery techniques (asynchronous or hybrid).
• Bachelor s, Master s, and PhD degrees from universities recognized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) and ability to teach courses in English with proof of competency.
• At least three years of teaching experience for applicants applying for Associate Professor or Assistant Professor.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and academic accreditation processes and ability to develop curricula in line with academic and professional developments.
• Published research in peer-reviewed and indexed journals (e.g., Scopus or Web of Science or equivalent).
• Proficiency in modern digital technologies including Adobe programs and artificial intelligence applications.
