Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in the organization, coordination, and control of housekeeping services. She ensures the quality of cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas according to the establishment's standards. She oversees team management and guest satisfaction.

  • Assist the General Housekeeper in the management of the teams (floor housekeepers, chambermaids/valets, team members).

  • Participate in the development of schedules and the allocation of tasks.

  • Integrate and train new employees.

  • To monitor the presentation, attendance and efficiency of staff.

  • Motivate the teams and ensure a good working atmosphere.

  • Supervise the maintenance of rooms, public areas, linens and service areas.

  • Conduct regular quality checks in rooms and common areas.

  • Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards.

  • Follow up on specific customer requests (VIP, events, etc.).

  • Assist in managing stocks of linen, guest amenities and cleaning products.

  • Place product orders and monitor deliveries.

  • To liaise with the laundry, reception and other departments.

  • Participate in the development of work procedures.

  • Responding to customer requests or complaints regarding accommodation.

  • To contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • To replace the Head Housekeeper in her absence.

  • to be able to manage the entire Housekeeping service autonomously.

Desired Candidate Profile

Excellent knowledge of hygiene standards, cleanliness and protocols in the hotel industry.

My mastery of professional cleaning techniques.

Knowledge of maintenance products and equipment.

Proficiency in office tools and hotel management software (PMS, Excel, etc.).

Leadership and ability to unite a team.

Sense of service and customer focus.

Discretion, rigor and attention to detail.

Good stress and priority management.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in the hotel industry, including at least 1-2 years in a similar position.
