Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Support the Finance Manager in managing the General Ledger function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely closing of accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day General Ledger activities and journal entries

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Ensure accuracy of financial records and reconciliations

  • Review and monitor balance sheet accounts

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for financial data

  • Identify and implement process improvements in GL activities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field / ACCA or CA Preferred

  • 5–7 years of experience in accounting/GL roles

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP preferred)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
