Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager (Project) to support our finance operations and drive excellence across project-based financial activities. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to banking systems, audit environments, and financial structuring, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and system automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in building and structuring the finance department to align with organizational goals.
  • Participate in project testing, reviews, and implementation of financial systems and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related IT upgrades, system improvements, and process automation.
  • Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
  • Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to enhance control and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banking partners, and other stakeholders as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong experience in banking systems or audit firm environments.
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting principles, and organizational structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
  • Exposure to finance system testing, automation, or ERP upgrades is a plus.
