Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience
At least two years of relevant library experience or training
Knowledge
knowledge of principles, procedures and technologies of information science and library administration
knowledge of sources and methods used in information retrieval and bibliographic research including electronic resources
Technical/Work-based Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Working knowledge of Dewey decimal system.
Working knowledge of office equipment and accurate keyboarding skills necessary to manage clerical and cataloging duties.
Ability to remain professional and courteous while interacting with library patrons.
General Skills/Attributes
Ability to work alone or within a team.
Well communication skills (Arabic and English).
Self-motivated and Creative.
Customer services skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification Minimum Diploma degree or Bachelor's in the relevant fields, or previous library experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
