Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze and monitor product, process, and operational costs across manufacturing units
Prepare and maintain cost sheets, BOMs, and standard costing reports
Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, overheads) and recommend corrective actions
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
Monitor inventory valuation, wastage, yield, and production efficiency
Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams for accurate cost data
Assist in pricing decisions and margin analysis
Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards and internal controls
Support audits (internal, statutory, and cost audit) and provide required documentation
Generate MIS reports and present cost insights to management
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICMAI (Cost & Management Accountant)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG or food manufacturing industry
Hands-on experience in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) and MS Excel
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
