Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PR and media strategies aligned with Deloitte s business strategies and ambitions in the Middle East.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and international media outlets and journalists to ensure positive coverage of the firm s activities and initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with PR & Media agencies to plan and execute campaigns that align with Deloitte's strategic objectives.
- Develop, review and edit press releases, media commentaries, and other communication materials that effectively convey Deloitte's brand and values.
- Coordinate media interviews, speaking engagements, and other media engagements to maximize positive coverage.
- Support the planning and execution of media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive communication strategies and messaging.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and business teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaigns.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by promoting Deloitte experts and insights through media channels.
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Track PR & media performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance media engagement and impact as well as refine strategies.
- Builds own understanding of our purpose and values; explores opportunities for impact.
- Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.
- Understands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track.
- Actively focuses on developing effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understands how their daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the business.
- Bachelor s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in media relations, PR, or corporate communications, preferably within professional services or consulting firms.
- Proven track record of managing media relations and securing high-impact coverage in the Middle East region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape in the Middle East.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with media monitoring tools and PR analytics is desirable.
