Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Tracking Implementation of Group Policies
- Ensure that all group policies are effectively implemented within the DXB Live division
- Monitor adherence to these policies and provide regular updates to senior management
- Conduct training sessions to ensure all employees understand and follow the group policies
Coordinating Financial Audits
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits
- Prepare necessary documentation and provide support during audit processes
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required
Monitoring Changes in Regulations
- Stay updated on changes in local and international financial regulations
- Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization and update policies accordingly
- Communicate regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders and ensure compliance
Preparing Compliance Reports
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of compliance data
- Provide insights and recommendations based on compliance findings
Coordinating with External/Internal Auditors
- Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between auditors and the organization
- Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and issues
Implementing Compliance Programs
- Develop and implement compliance programs within the DXB Live division
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure the effectiveness of compliance programs
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters
Operating Environment
- Role is based out of DXB Live office
- Requires travel occasionally to international locations for training and development of teams
- Effective communication will be the key
Formal Education
- Bachelor s degree in finance / business / commerce
- Professional qualification in compliance / finance will be an added advantage
Work Experience
5-6 years relevant experience in a reputed organization in UAE/GCC experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills, Analytical abilities, attention to detail and self-motivation are key skills required for this role
- Knowledge and ability to research industry / regulatory / compliance information would be added advantage
