Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities:

1.To ensure the releasing of laboratory analysis results for raw material and finished products are on time within seven working days upon submission to the laboratory.

2. To ensure that equipments are clean and free from microbial contamination before production.

3. To ensures that every employee in the Factory complies with the GMP, SSOP, HACCP and ISO requirements.

4. Ensures that all tests and procedures are properly modified, evaluated when required.

5. Meets with vendors, customers, quality representative, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required. Setting up approved suppliers list and raw material specifications.

6. Develops and maintains a supplier quality index, utilizing statistical control programs, to assure that only high-quality vendors are retained. Work with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

Experience and Training:

  • Preferably at least 10 years quality assurance experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capabilities studies will become an intricate part of the quality assurance program: therefore, formal education in courses related to these areas such as mathematics, statistics, and industrial practices, are essential for this position.
  • Some quality assurance practices as they apply to individual unique products can be learned during on-the-job training, but overall capability in this discipline must be previously demonstrated.

Job Purpose:

1. To develop and maintain the Food Safety Management System.

2. To work with purchasing and establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

3. To assure that all manufactured products by the Herfy Meat Factory have met the standard specification, legal requirements, food safety standards and to consistently achieve the levels of superior quality.

4. Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as produce statistical reports.

5. Work with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, and systems.
