Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible to delivering the goods in lorries/trucks as per directions of the sales supervisor.
2. MAIN TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Task Description
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
Follow routes and time schedule
Follow Department of Transport DOT regulations and safety standards
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Complete logs and reports
Collect payments if required
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints
Teamwork
Effective communication within and outside the team (internal/external)
Create a supportive environment for the team members
Contribute to the team, letting others know information that may be useful or important
Help to create a fun, supportive work environment.
Health and Safety
Understand and ensure meeting the obligations of health and safety requirements of employment legislation.
Identify and contain/minimize product related health hazards reported by the consumer(s).
Maintain an event register for supply and subsequent recall of all defective products.
People Management and Reporting Responsibilities
Work with sales supervisor, sales coordinator, merchandiser, shelf stacker, other internal and external stakeholders for efficient and effective execution of sales
Keep accurate and up to date, information on stock replenishments
Proper weekly forecast to eliminate market returns
3. MAIN CONTACTS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal All Department Heads and Line Managers.
External Stakeholders, customers, agencies etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Level
(Minimum Requirement)
High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification
Work Experience
0-3 years experience in a related position. Knowledge FMCG food product is a must and of dairy industry desirable.
Valid professional driver s license
Job Specific Skills
Ability to operate forklifts, tractors and small trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Hand-Eye Coordination, Hearing, Stamina, Good Vision and Punctuality
Generic Skills
Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail
Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability

Position Location
To be based in Depot across Oman and travelling national as per business requirement.
