Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a comprehensive annual training plan aligned with business goals and operational needs.

  • Conduct training needs analyses across all F&B departments to identify skill gaps and performance challenges.

  • Create structured learning pathways for new hires, supervisors, and high‑potential employees.

2. Training Program Development

  • Design and update training modules covering service standards, product knowledge, hygiene and safety, upselling, guest engagement, and leadership skills.

  • Develop onboarding programs for new F&B employees to ensure smooth integration and consistent service delivery.

  • Create training materials such as manuals, SOPs, e‑learning content, videos, and assessments.

3. Training Delivery

  • Facilitate engaging classroom sessions, on‑the‑job training, role‑plays, and practical demonstrations.

  • Coach and mentor F&B staff and supervisors to reinforce learning and improve performance.

  • Conduct pre‑opening training for new outlets or renovated venues.

4. Performance Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Track training attendance, completion rates, and post‑training performance improvements.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, mystery audits, guest feedback, and operational KPIs.

  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on training outcomes and areas for improvement.

5. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure all training programs comply with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and brand standards.

  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and staff competency.

6. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with F&B Managers, HR, and Quality Assurance teams to align training with operational needs.

  • Support talent development initiatives such as succession planning and leadership development.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the F&B team.
