Asst. Safety Officer Emarat Aloula Contracting

We, at Emarat Aloula (a division of Ali & Sons Holding) is looking for an Assistant Safety Officer who will assist to maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements. and to prevent and minimize site accidents (human and equipment) through effective mitigation through accident prevention, control and safety awareness. Provide an advisory service to prevent accidents and incidents for all site staff, client and visitors to ensure safety throughout the facility.

• To maintain high levels of on-site safety awareness through the delivery of effective educational and training programmes
• To provide a comprehensive on-site HSE administrative support system
• To assist Managers, Engineers and Supervisors in compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe operations on site
• To maintain effective working relations between the Company, its clients and its sub-contractors
• Provide site induction training for all staff and subcontractors on site.
• To provide a training program of Toolbox Talks and monitor the delivery of the Talks by the Supervisors to the workforce.
• To maintain a safe on-site working environment through the proactive enforcement of safety regulations
• To compile Near Misses for onward processing by site management and corporate
• To investigate breaches of safety regulations and produce appropriate advice and reports as required by the Company and client procedures.
• Compile site man-hours for corporate reporting
• Provide monthly reporting to the site management to comply with the contract requirements.
• Provide a high level of customer service to the KN staff, the client , residents and visitors to the site
• Carry out all safety related requests from the site management as required. (This may involve multi-sites as required.
