Job Summary:

The Approval Submission Engineer will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting all necessary documents, drawings, and approvals to relevant authorities, consultants, and clients for construction and engineering projects. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE authority procedures, excellent communication, and organizational skills to ensure timely project approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit drawings, documents, and applications for approval to consultants, clients, and local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DDA, DEWA, Emaar, etc.).
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to collect necessary documents for submission.
• Track, monitor, and follow up on all submitted approvals until final clearance is obtained.
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations, standards, and requirements during submission.
• Maintain and update a submission log to track approvals and ensure timely follow-up.
• Handle resubmissions by addressing authority/consultant comments and coordinating with design and project teams for revisions.
• Liaise with government departments and consultants to expedite approval processes.
• Support the project team by providing updated approval statuses and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and completeness of all submission documents.
• Report regularly to the Project/Engineering Manager on submission progress and challenges.
