Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems related to vehicle air conditioning systems using specialized diagnostic tools.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on car air conditioning units.
• Recharge A/C systems and check for leaks or damages in existing systems.
• Install and replace air conditioning systems and components in various vehicle models.
• Maintain updated knowledge of current automotive air conditioning technologies and practices.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Document and maintain records of works performed and parts used in repairs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations when handling refrigerants and other materials.
• Collaborate with other automotive specialists to ensure comprehensive vehicle maintenance.
• Test repaired systems to confirm they're functioning according to specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs and installations of air conditioning systems.
• Safeguard tools and equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency in service delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with relevant training in automotive systems.
• Certification in automotive air conditioning, such as ASE or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with vehicle air conditioning systems and components.
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, repair techniques, and part replacements.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in problem resolution.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative automotive team.
• Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including bending and lifting tools.
