Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We’re hiring a skilled Java Backend Developer for an onsite role in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in backend development and hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must-Have Skills: • Core Java (8/11/17), Data Structures, Algorithms • Microservices, Spring Boot, Java Collections, Generics • System Architecture, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda Preferred Experience: • Advanced JVM knowledge and backend design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observer) • Redis for caching, Docker & Kubernetes for deployment • SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL • Event-driven architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ • Performance tuning in high-throughput environments • Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure • CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) • Load testing and resilience strategies (rate limiting, circuit breakers) Please note: To be eligible for this role, candidates must have 7+ years of expertise in Core Java (versions 8/11/17), Data Structures, Algorithms, Microservices, Spring Boot, Java Collections, Generics, and System Architecture. They should also have experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and fluent in Arabic.
