Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Communicate professionally with internal and external guests, ensuring a courteous and service-focused approach.

  • Plan, prioritize, and delegate daily bar operations efficiently.
  • Supervise, guide, and improve team performance through coaching and corrective training.
  • Build and maintain a motivated, cohesive bar team environment.
  • Foster strong coordination with kitchen and all F&B departments.
  • Identify operational challenges and resolve them with sound judgment.
  • Assess training needs and deliver ongoing staff development programs.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules in line with business demands and labor forecasts.
  • Ensure effective communication flow across all team levels and shifts.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to departmental procedures.
  • Allocate bar sections, duties, and break schedules appropriately.
  • Maintain service standards and take corrective action when needed.
  • Lead daily briefings and actively participate in departmental meetings.
  • Plan ahead for busy periods and events, ensuring smooth bar operations.
  • Support talent development, staff appraisals, and uphold company values including a Yes I Can service attitude.

Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel, resort, or high-volume bar environment.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in staff training and performance management.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
