Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barista to join our team and provide exceptional coffee and customer service experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and more. You will interact with customers, ensure quality control, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, possesses strong communication skills, and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve quality beverages and food products consistently to customers.
  • Take customer orders accurately and provide information on menu items.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in all workspaces.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
  • Greet and interact with all guests to create a welcoming environment.
  • Monitor and restock inventory, ensuring supplies are always available.
  • Handle cash and card transactions using a point of sale system efficiently.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation and shop procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss new recipes and techniques.
  • Be knowledgeable about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee types and preparation methods is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
