Roles & Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Guest Service:
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival at the Barista Bar and Italian Caf .
- Engage with warmth and openness with guests, staying fully present.
- Offer product knowledge on coffees and teas to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist guests with selections of various coffee blends, teas, and other hot beverages.
- Take hot beverage orders and serve them directly to guests.
- Initiate conversations with guests and offer replenishment of beverages as appropriate.
- Wish all guests a pleasant journey.
Professional Coffee Station Service:
- Monitor coffee quality and maintain the coffee machine.
- Expertly prepare hot beverages and ensure that they are served according to beverage standards.
- Create latte art to enhance presentation.
- Monitor stock levels for coffee stations and maintain an inventory log.
- Set up and close the barista areas while ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Provide internal coffee training sessions and coaching for junior staff/new hires.
Desired Candidate Profile
High School Diploma.
- Certificate or college courses in hospitality or F&B service is preferred.
2 years minimum work experience in a similar role.
