Job Purpose

We are looking for a Bartender to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Bartender in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and cocktails according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, cocktail shakers, and other equipment, ensuring they are clean and functioning correctly.
• Work Area Maintenance: Keep the bar and coffee stations clean and organized, following health and safety standards.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, manage the cash register, and handle cash and credit card payments.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current beverage trends and techniques to enhance drink offerings and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a luxury or upscale environment
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced setting
