Biology Teacher

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner with the ability to teach Biology to IB level, demonstrating strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high quality learning experiences.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor s degree in Biology or a related field
• A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., M.Ed., PGCE/PGDE, or equivalent)
• At least two years of successful high school teaching experience
• Experience with IB courses in Biology (desirable but not essential)
• A solid understanding of inquiry-driven and standards-based teaching and learning

Professional Skills & Dispositions

• Proven ability to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that challenge and inspire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with students and families
• Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to department and school initiatives
• Confident use of educational technology
• Experience in an international or diverse school environment (preferred, but not required)
