Roles & Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSEReporting to the Retail Manager, the Boutique Director is in charge of reaching the business performance and objectives set, as well as following the strategy defined by the Maison.He/She supervises and develops the Boutique retail teams and their activities.KEY REPONSIBILITIES RETAIL PERFORMANCESupport the Boutique team to achieve the sales target and faciliate business growth.Analyse the boutique's KPIs and identify priority actions to drive boutique performance.In partnership with the Retail Manager, analyse the sales performance and individual sales performance.Build the retail commercial strategy in the boutique in collaboration with the Retail Manager.Develop along with the Marketing department action plans to boost sales. CRM AND CLIENT EXPERIENCEDevelop and adapt a client strategy focusing on recruiting new clients and retaining existing ones, in collaboration with the Boutique Client Experience Manager.Ensure an outstanding client experience.Diffuse a client centric mindset within the teams and ensure the client KPIs are achieved.Establish a positive atmosphere and lead your team in delivering superior client experience by working closely with them to ensure that clients feel welcomed, valued and promptly attended to.Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, providing personalized recommendations and service by anticipating their needs and preferences.Ensure accurate management of client data in the CRM, guaranteeing safe handling and storage of all client-related information, and taking appropriate measures to comply with Maison data protection regulations. TEAM MANAGEMENTLead the team by example, inspiring them to meet high standards of performance.Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, creating a positive and supportive work environment, keeping good knowledge of their strengths and potential opportunities.Provide regular coaching and feedback to team members, setting performance expectations and helping them to achieve their goals.Deploy training programs to onboard new team members and provide ongoing education and development opportunities.Foster a sense of ownership and accountability among team members, empowering them to take initiative and make decisions. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCEEnsure compliance with all Maison and Group company policies and procedures and make sure that they are understood by your team, well implemented and followed.Continuously monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity and ensure that operational tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.Role RequirementsAt least 5 years experience in the luxurious retail industry or high-end hospitality. Boutique manager experience is a strong plus.Strong experience in managing and developing teams.Exceptional sales skills and expert in client relationship development.Client centric and strong understanding of the retail client experience required.Strong display of emotional intelligence.Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, follow up and problem-solving skills required.Autonomous and pro-active with a get-it-done results-driven attitude.Effective team player, collaborative approach.Proven to be resilientProficiency in English. Arabic or other language not mandatory but is a key advantage.
